A note from the founder

I started Cobalt because I watched this moment getting wasted.

NICK MYERS · FOUNDER · TAMPA, FL

I spend my days inside an integrated marketing function at a major retail brand. I've watched smart, capable operators around me — and across the industry — go through the AI wave the same way most people go through any wave: cautiously, late, and through a layer of expensive consultants who don't actually build anything.

The pattern is the same everywhere. People know AI matters. They've signed up for tools they don't use. They've read the threads, listened to the podcasts, and still don't know what to actually build first for their specific business. And the consultants who promise to help them figure it out are mostly selling decks, not deployed leverage.

Cobalt Elite Works exists because that gap is the most expensive thing in business right now — and most operators don't even see the bill yet.

I'm not interested in being another voice in that consulting noise. I'm interested in being the one operator who actually builds the workflows, hands you the keys, and stays embedded just long enough to make sure your business runs sharper without me.

What we're built on

The principles this firm is built on.

Principle 01

We forge, we don't advise.

The deliverable is built, deployed, and running — not pitched in a deck. If you can't use it on Monday morning, we didn't actually do the work.

Principle 02

You own everything.

Every workflow, every custom tool, every prompt library — built into your accounts, on your logins, with full documentation. No proprietary middleware. No platform tax. No vendor lock-in.

Principle 03

Selective by design.

Cobalt isn't built to scale to a thousand clients. It's built to deliver high-leverage operations to operators who treat their businesses like they matter — who show up to the intake, deploy what we build together, and use what we deliver.

Principle 04

Honest about the moment.

AI changes the math of running a business. Everyone says it. Almost no one acts on it correctly. The real work is figuring out — for your specific business, with your specific constraints — what to build first, what to skip, and what to ignore for the next twelve months. That's what we do.
